Doug Wright, B.Comm, B.Ed.,CFP is a financial planner, educator and author, helping individuals and families meet their retirement, estate, investment and insurance planning needs for over 24 years. He is a member of FP Canada (formerly Financial Planner Standards Council) and follows the strict annual requirements. He currently serves as President and Financial Planner with Wiltshire Financial Management, a company that he founded in 2011. Plus, recently Wiltshire has developed an online personal finance course for those near retirement.

Prior to starting Wiltshire Financial, he served as Financial Planner for six years with Credential Financial Strategies, specializing in financial and estate planning services for high-net-worth individuals. Doug has extensive experience in cash flow management, insurance and investments. Doug’s professional designations and registrations include; Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and the Canadian Securities Course. He is a graduate of Dalhousie University earning his Bachelor of Commerce Degree. Doug also attended Saint Mary’s University, where he received his Bachelor of Education Degree, with a specialization in Mathematics.


Doug’s experience and broad range of industry knowledge is recognized throughout Nova Scotia, where he has worked with individuals, multi-generational families, local businesses, and charities. A Halifax native, Doug enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. He is a recreational musician and practices and instructs karate in his spare time.

Narin Kafkas, Administrative Officer

After working as a professional director and producer for 15 years, Narin chose to pursue a new career path in the corporate sector after coming to Canada. As a communication person and administrative manager, she facilitates positive client relationships, making everyone welcome through her skills in problem solving and time management.

She has been living with her core family and loving literature and nature.
